Assignment 3: Colour - similar colours

The red chairs and red carpet are in a cafe in Hyde Park which is all red. I thought it looked quite wonderful. This is a warm photo with reds on reds. The only way you can see the chairs and table is because they are made of different materials to the carpet. Otherwise you might see nothing at all - just red!

The yellows/oranges/browns of these leaves are warm and the sun shining on them make them more so. I love autumn with piles of leaves of similar colour showing different textures.

This shows the oranges of turning leaves - another autumn scene. The gray of the wall and the tree bark make the leaves look even warmer because they look cool and provide a contrast.

Finally, the pasta store which provides more warm colours. The yellows and beiges look inviting and the contrast of the dark background sets them off well providing a good backdrop.
